You can move out any time and you only pay for the days you have used our storage facility (subject to a minimum storage charge period of just two weeks). No notice required and unused days are fully refunded.

You can access your self storage room as often as you wish (putting items in or taking them out) totally free of charge. Our Walsall storage facility opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm, Saturday 8am – 5pm and Sunday 12pm – 4pm. 24 hour 7 day access is available on some of our domestic self storage units, please ask for details.

A Short History of Perry Barr
Perry Barr is a predominantly residential inner city area, located 3.3 miles (5.31 km) north of Birmingham city centre.
It consists of various smaller wards added together: East Handsworth, Lozells, Oscott and Handsworth Wood.
The name Perry Barr is derived from two sources: "Perry" (small) comes from the Latin ‘parva’ and "Barr" means "hill", relating to Barr Beacon and Great Barr respectively.
Its roots go way back as it is mentioned in the Doomsday book, listed as Pirio & Barre (two separate places), with William FitzAnsulf quoted as the tenant chief of both manor.
Aston Villa Football Club was located within the Perry Barr ward on Wellington Road when it first opened its doors in 1876 and remained there until 1897.
During the period 1894 to 1928 Perry Barr was an urban district within the Staffordshire area, this was before it became incorporated into Birmingham. By 1974, it became fully part of the West Midlands area when Birmingham was made into a metropolitan borough in its own right.
It was the first to have a crematorium which was opened by Sir Henry Thompson from the Cremation Society in 1903. This is now a privately owned business.
The first ever Odeon Cinema was opened in Perry Barr and, although the building still remains, it is now used as a conference hall.
The Birmingham “Brummies” Speedway Team, and Greyhound racing track are located at Perry Barr Stadium, and the Alexander Sport Stadium is also within this catchment area, they are all very popular tourist attractions.
Perry Bridge is one of several bridges that stretch across the local river Tame. Built in 1711; its emblem appears on the badge of Handsworth Grammar School.
In the 1990’s, a mall-style shopping centre known as “One Stop Shopping Centre” was opened in Perry Barr.
Arthur "Archie" Robertson (Olympic gold medalist 1908) was a local resident and consequently a pub was also built which carries the name “Arthur Robertson”; this was incorporated within the One Stop Shopping complex.
